Triethylene Glycol (TEG), also known as Triglycol, is an organic compound with the molecular formula C₆H₁₄O₄. It is a colorless, odorless viscous liquid with strong hygroscopicity and excellent solubility at ambient conditions. TEG is a diol containing two hydroxyl (–OH) functional groups and an ether-linked oligomeric structure. It is widely used in natural gas dehydration, solvent systems, and as a chemical intermediate.
